Coming into tonight’s season finale for the Desoto Pro Trucks, Palmetto’s Nick Hernandez and Bradenton’s Danny Anderson were locked in the tightest points race in all of Desoto Speedway’s classes. Hernandez led Anderson by just one single point after the drop. The night started off great for Danny Anderson as he put his #50 Truck on pole with the fast lap in qualifying. Hernandez was close behind posting the 2nd fastest time. After the Nine truck field was inverted, Anderson and Hernndez led a charge through the field.

It’s destination Florida for race fans in February. That’s nothing new except it has been expanded this year with a three-night AMSOIL USAC National Sprint car weekend at East Bay Raceway in Gibsonton February 26-28. An open practice night is on tap February 25.
After sitting all season with no racing action, Lake City Speedway roared back into action this weekend with a pair of programs on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Saturday was cloudy and cool, yet comfortable while Sunday’s action was head under mostly sunny and warm conditions.
Orlando SpeedWorld returned to action Friday night, November 7th, with racing presented by Clean Cut Tree Service & Stump Grinding of Melbourne on a clear, chilly night that saw plenty of good action from start to finish.

DIRTcar Racing action scheduled at four Florida tracks and one Georgia oval during January and February
Clogo-dirtcarONCORD, N.C. – Nov. 6, 2014 – The 2015 DIRTcar Racing season will get off to a hot start this winter with Speedweeks action in four divisions spread among five dirt tracks and two months.
The traditional stretch of early-season racing begins in late January with Winternationals and culminates with the DIRTcar Nationals presented by Summit Racing Equipment in mid-February.
Waterbury, VT – In a joint announcement between Robert Hart, owner and promoter of the New Smyrna Speedway (NSS) and Tom Curley, President of the American Canadian Tour (ACT), the popular ACT Late Models from throughout New England, New York, and Quebec will return to the annual World Series of Asphalt Racing in New Smyrna Beach, Florida on February 16-17, 2015. The teams of ACT will compete in the American Racer Cup, a two feature event, over two nights of racing.
